Beta Club officer elections will be Tuesday, April 28th. If you would like to run for office, please turn in an officer application by the end of the day.
There will be a vaccine clinic on Wednesday, April 29th for students in grades 7th and 11th who signed up.
The following FCCLA members need to turn in money for the fundraiser buyout to Mrs. Musgraves by the end of the day! They are: Sam Jacobs, Tamara Resendiz, Millie Smith, Jolynn Stievenart, and Sunnie Hamlett.
Congratulations to our HS and JH softball teams on their wins over Campbell! Both teams will play today at Rector *weather permitting* with HS beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Booter Club Class Picture Fundraiser forms can be turned into the office. Extra forms are outside the office. Class pictures will be taken on Wednesday, April 29th.
Congratulations to our HS Baseball team on their win over Caruthersville! They will play here on Monday (4/27) against Bell City at 4:30 p.m. and Clarkton at 6:00 p.m.
Hat Day for a Cause! Every Friday through the end of the year you can bring a $1 and wear a hat. All proceeds go to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You can bring your $1 to the office and you will receive a sticker. If you do not pay and get your sticker you will be asked to remove your hat.
FCCLA Officer Elections will be on Wednesday, April 29th @ lunch
Our 7th – 12th grade band concert has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th in the HS Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
If you did not get a chance to vote this morning for class officers and SGA officers you may do so today at lunch. Ballets will be counted this afternoon.
The next ACT will be given on June 13th – deadline to register is Friday, May 8th.
Tonight is the last night for everyone to come out and watch Shrek the Musical! Our Musical Theatre Club will be performing Shrek tonight (4/24). The musical begins at 7:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $3 for students and adults.
Baccalaureate Service for Seniors and their families that would like to participate will take place this Sunday, April 26th at the Methodist church across the street from the school. All students wishing to participate need to be at the church by 4:45 p.m. and must wear their graduation attire and bring their cap and gown.
Seventh, eighth and ninth graders who improved their MAP scores by 30 points, moved up a level, or scored proficient or advanced will get a MAP improvement day off! The day off will be next Friday, May 1st. The list of names are posted outside the office.
The Hornets Nest Cafeteria will honor our seniors with their annual “Senior Sayonara Meal” at lunch on Tuesday, May 5th.
Our High School Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday May, 6th at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to dress nice.
All Seniors will participate in their “Final Walk” on their last day of school beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6th. There are thank you notes in the baskets for seniors to write to their teachers to thank them for the time they have invested in you. These are for seniors only.
Our Junior High Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 8th. at 2:30 p.m
Seniors: Graduation practice will be the morning of graduation beginning at 8:00 a.m. All seniors should come dressed in their Graduation attire and bring cap and gown for pictures. DO NOT BE LATE! Picture order forms are outside the office, they are purple.
Our Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the HS Gym. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
