Announcements – Thursday, September 24th 2026

If your parents choose to purchase Chromebook insurance for the 26-27 school year when they completed their online registration you can bring your $40 to the office in between classes. The deadline to turn in payment is next Friday, October 2nd.

All FCCLA Members need to bring a decent size bag of candy for the parade by Friday (9/25). FCCLA members can pick up shirts in between classes. There are permission slips outside Mrs. Musgraves’ door for those walking in the parade. 

Our HS baseball team will play here today against Gideon at 4:30 p.m. 

Sunshine Club dues will need to be turned in by the end of the day tomorrow (9/25) 

Any Beta student needing community service hours – you can work setting up at the Delta Fair this Sunday (9/27). See Mrs. McClendon if you are interested. 

Jostens will be here next Wednesday (9/30)  at 8:00 a.m. to meet with seniors about graduation products and sophomores about class rings. 

Congratulations to our varsity volleyball team on their win over Caruthersville! They will play tonight at New Madrid County Central at 5:00 p.m. 

FCA will meet today (9/24) at lunch at the Open Door Outreach Center. FCA students will participate in “Meet you at the Pole” after their meeting. 

There is a sign up list outside the office for girls in grades 9th – 12th interested in playing HS girls basketball. Please sign the list if you are interested.

KCTC will be here next Friday, October 2nd to meet with Sophomores at 7:45 a.m. 

Our annual SGA intramural volleyball games will begin next week! Each day during a different hour there will be a volleyball game between grade levels (9th – 12th). Tuesday (9/29) will kick off with the juniors going up against the freshman! All students will be allowed to attend but the cost to get into the games is 50 cents per day – $2 for the whole week – even if you are playing. Money can be paid to your 1st hour teacher starting on Tuesday (9/29). Teachers: Envelopes for SGA Games are in your mailboxes. 

Progress reports will be distributed during 7th hour on Friday (9/25) Teachers you can import grades now through noon today (9/24).
