Announcements – Thursday, October 22nd 2026

If you would like to purchase a yearbook for the 2026-2027 school year you may do so at www.jostensyearbooks.com. 

All Juniors will take the ASVAB on Wednesday, October 28th. Any senior interested in retaking the ASVAB please let Mrs. McClendon know. 

The deadline to register for the December 12th ACT is Friday, November 6th. 

Seniors – Just a friendly reminder if you have not ordered your cap and gown from Jostens you need to do so ASAP. Everyone must purchase a cap and gown for graduation. Also – you should be continually checking your Class of 2027 Google Classroom for Scholarship updates. 

There will be a FAFSA night for seniors and their parents on Monday, October 26th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Parents should contact the office for an appointment. 

Report cards will be distributed on Friday (10/23) during 7th hour, teachers you can import grades now through noon tomorrow (10/22). Parent/Teacher conferences will be on Monday (10/26) from noon – 6:00 p.m. 

SGA sno cone workers for today are as follows: Tyson Smith, Casey Davis, Nataly Romero, and Sahily Garcia. They should be dismissed at 10:15 a.m. to set up. 

FCCLA Members – Permission slip for regional meeting is in the folder outside Mrs. Musgraves room. Please have signed and returned by the end of the day tomorrow (10/23). Only 3 of 34 have turned in their permission slip. 

The annual Art Club Carnival is next Friday, October 30th. All items for the carnival are due tomorrow (10/23).

FCA shirts are on sale now! Cost is $5 for shirts and $10 for sweatshirts. See Coach Casper or the baskets outside the office for an order form. Orders are due to Coach Casper by noon today (10/22).  

Our FCCLA/FFA Barnwarming Dance will be on Friday, November 6th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in the AG Shop. The sign up list is posted outside the office. This dance is for students in grades 9th – 12th who are members of FCCLA and FFA, unless someone in either club invites you to attend. If you are bringing a date from another school please grab an “Out of District Guest” form from the baskets outside the office. The deadline to sign up and turn in an “Out of District Guest” form is Tuesday, November 3rd at the end of the school day. 

After school tutoring will be today in Mrs. Killin’s room. 

Our JH girls and boys basketball teams will both play today at Southland starting at 5:00 p.m., JHGBB players should be dismissed at 3:20 p.m. to go to Coach Gabby’s classroom. 

FCA will meet today (10/22) at lunch at the Open Door Outreach center. 

The following students need to report to the elementary school tomorrow morning at 7:15 a.m. for the Sunshine Club’s “Sunshine Friday” they are: Cadien Coronado, Chris Bowen, Callen Danley, Dawson Robertson, and Kasyn Guijarro. 

Jr. Beta Fundraiser starts tomorrow! Mrs. Lemings will meet with all Jr. Beta in the gym after breakfast tomorrow to pass out order forms.
