If you would like to purchase a yearbook for the 2026-2027 school year you may do so at www.jostensyearbooks.com. 

The deadline to register for the December 12th ACT is Friday, November 6th. 

Seniors – Just a friendly reminder if you have not ordered your cap and gown from Jostens you need to do so ASAP. Everyone must purchase a cap and gown for graduation. Also – you should be continually checking your Class of 2027 Google Classroom for scholarship updates. 

Our FCCLA/FFA Barnwarming Dance will be on Friday, November 6th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in the AG Shop. The sign up list is posted outside the office. This dance is for students in grades 9th – 12th who are members of FCCLA and FFA, unless someone in either club invites you to attend. If you are bringing a date from another school please grab an “Out of District Guest” form from the baskets outside the office. The deadline to sign up and turn in an “Out of District Guest” form is Tuesday, November 3rd at the end of the school day. 

After school tutoring will take place today in Mrs. Killians room. 

Junior Beta Little Debbie order form and money is due this Tuesday, November 3rd to Mrs. Lemings. 

1st Quarter Honor Roll is posted outside the office, if you think you name is not on it and it should be, please let the office know by the end of the day (10/29) 

Musical Theatre will kick off tomorrow afternoon from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium. You must have a ride to pick you up from practice. 

Red Ribbon Week concludes tomorrow with Hornets say “Boo to DRUGS” its costume day! Everyone may come dressed in their *school appropriate* Halloween costume – no masks.  If you guessed Cocaine on yesterday’s drug question – you were correct! Mrs. McClendon had one winner drawn – Tyson Smith – you can go get your prize from Mrs. McClendon. 

Today’s Question: This drug is made from a plant and contains the mind-altering chemical delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other related compounds. It has short term and long term effects on your brain. People using this drug may experience impaired thinking, memory, and learning functions; changes in mood, hallucinations. It also has physical effects on your body including breathing problems, increased heart rate, and intense nausea and vomiting. 

The following students need to report to the elementary school tomorrow morning at 7:15 a.m. for the Sunshine Club’s “Sunshine Friday” they are: Logan Baird, Isaac Mercado, Cooper Russom, Blaydn Joiner, and Ansley Rouse. 

Our JH Boys basketball team will play tonight at Bernie at 6:00 p.m.
