If you would like to purchase a yearbook for the 2026-2027 school year you may do so at www.jostensyearbooks.com. 

The deadline to register for the December 12th ACT is next Friday, November 6th. 

Seniors – Just a friendly reminder if you have not ordered your cap and gown from Jostens you need to do so ASAP. Everyone must purchase a cap and gown for graduation. Also – you should be continually checking your Class of 2027 Google Classroom for scholarship updates. 

The deadline to sign up for the barnwarming dance is this Tuesday (11/3)! If you plan to attend our annual FCCLA/FFA Barnwarming Dance on Friday, November 6th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in the AG Shop you must sign the list. The sign up list is posted outside the office. This dance is for students in grades 9th – 12th who are members of FCCLA and FFA, unless someone in either club invites you to attend. If you are bringing a date from another school please grab an “Out of District Guest” form from the baskets outside the office. 

Junior Beta Little Debbie order form and money is due this Tuesday (11.3) to Mrs. Lemings. 

Musical Theatre will kick off today (10/30) after school from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium. You must have a ride to pick you up from practice. 

Our JH girls basketball team will play here on Monday (11/2) against Kennett at 6:00 p.m., the following junior stand workers should be here by 5:15 p.m., they are Ansley Rouse and Olivia Joiner. 

Our JH boys basketball team will play this Monday (11/2) at Gideon on Monday (11/2) at 6:00 p.m. 

If you guessed Marijuana on yesterday’s drug question – you were correct! Mrs. McClendon had one winner drawn – Callen Danley – you can go get your prize from Mrs. McClendon. 

Final Drug Question: The long term effects using this drug are unknown, however it is known to damage the lungs and heart, increase the risk of cancer, and negatively affect brain development in young people affecting attention, learning, mood, and impulse control.  In 2023, 5.9% of high school students and 3.5% of middle school students reported using this drug in the past 30 days. This drug contains highly addictive nicotine, harmful chemicals, and heavy metals.
