Red Ribbon Week continues tomorrow with Hornets say “WAKE UP DRUG FREE”! It’s PJ Day: Wear your favorite school appropriate pjs! Each day on the announcements we will have drug fact questions. Listen to the question and turn in your answer into the office on a small piece of paper with your name on it to win a prize!
Drug Questions: This drug is a synthetic opioid that is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. According to the CDC, it is the number one drug threat facing America, causing approximately 75,000 deaths in 2022. The risk of fatal overdose is very high, particularly with illegally manufactured forms of this drug, which is often mixed into other street drugs without the user’s knowledge.
