Announcements – Wednesday, September 30th 2026

If your parents choose to purchase Chromebook insurance for the 26-27 school year when they completed their online registration you can bring your $40 to the office in between classes. The deadline to turn in payment is this Friday (10/2). 

KCTC will be here this Friday (10/2) to meet with Sophomores at 7:45 a.m. 

Congratulations to our band students on their wonderful performance in the Delta Fair Parade yesterday! 

The Dunklin County Health Center will be offering a free dental clinic on Thursday, October 22nd. Forms were sent home last week, if you did not get one there are some outside the office. Forms must be turned back into the office by Thursday (10/8) 

Congratulations to the Juniors for defeating the Freshman in yesterday’s SGA Game! Today will be the Seniors vs. the Sophomores 5th hour!  All students should report to their 5th hour class and then will be dismissed by intercom to the gym. Students that are playing should check in their 5th hour teacher and go to the gym to warm up. 

KCTC Students who are playing in SGA Games this week may stay at Holcomb for the games, but you have to come by the office and let us know so we can let VOTECH know. 

There will be a HS girls basketball meeting tomorrow (10/1) at 3:15 p.m. in Coach Dubar classroom. 

There will be air rifle practice Tuesday (10/6) 

There will be an FCA “Fields of Faith” event on Sunday (10/11) at 6:00 p.m. in Dexter. FCA students that are interested should sign the list outside the office and pick up a permission slip from the baskets outside the office. 

After school tutoring will begin next week. It will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school till 4:30 p.m. There will be a bus that will take students home from tutoring.  Students who need extra help or have low grades are highly encouraged to attend. 

Picture Retake Day will be next Thursday (10/8). Any student that would like to have their school picture retaken needs to come by and let the office know. The following JH sports will also be photographed: JH Girls Basketball, JH Boys Basketball, and  JH Cheer. Players will need to make sure they have all parts of their uniforms on this day. 

ASD will be in Mr. Hancock’s room on Thursday (10/1) 

Mrs. Lemings is missing 15 Jr. Beta membership agreement forms. Get those to her by this Friday (10/2) or she will take that as you do not want to be a member of Jr. Beta this year. See Mrs. Lemings if you need a new form.
